Long Arm Quilting Service
I have an HQ Avante with 12 ft frame. I also have a Baby Lock Coronet with 6 ft frame. At this time I offer edge to edge quilting (pantographs), stitch in the ditch, and limited custom quilting.
That depends on how many quilts are in queue before yours and the type of quilting you would like. Ideally, my turn around time is no more than 2 weeks.
I charge .025 cents per square inch for edge-2-edge quilting (E2E), so if you have a quilt that measures 60 x 80, multiply 60 x 80 x .025 = $120. I charge .065 for custom quilting and in the ditch work.
Yes, thread and a new needle are included in the price of quilting.
If you normally wash, dry, and iron your backing material prior to assembling the top, please do that before you send it my way! I will piece the back for an additional charge of $10 per seam or $30 per hour.
You may. I ask that you ensure your batting is at least 4 inches longer and wider than the quilt top. I carry Hobbs 80/20 for $10 per yard.
Yes! There are a few options available. Be sure to indicate which option you want on the order form.
Postage fees are the responsibility of the client.
1) First, if you mail your quilts to me, I recommend sending your quilts via UPS or US Postal Service using the flat rate boxes, these include tracking and some insurance.
2) Then once your quilt has been quilted I will pack it into a box with plastic to keep it safe from moisture and purchase the postage to return the quilt back to you, that exact postage cost will be added to your invoice once quilting is complete. I am not responsible for lost or stolen packages, I encourage you to purchase postal insurance whenever possible.
I will text or email you a “ransom” photo of your completed quilt as well as a final invoice. You can pay via cash, PayPal, or Square. As soon as the payment comes through on my end, I will ship your quilt. If we are meeting in person, please bring payment when you pick up your finished quilt.
